There's nothing worse than taking a classic and ruining that 'thing'...the very essence that made it noteworthy before you were introduced. Once in your evil clutches you can re-introduce with flair(slightly)..own it for the moment..and do It proud. Lesson #1.gents, for those that don't have a clue...You never upstage a classic anything!..ever..You surround a classic with personal pieces to enhance and add YOU...
Doing too much may have you getting 'lost in translation' with what you were trying to accomplish...A slight break down with a play on words. This includes 'classy women' also. Classic and classy hold the same distinction in my book to some degree(not old or outdated).To me both are uniquely different and has withstood the constant changes that time/life obviously effects. Trust me, the sooner you memorize that tidbit the better off you are. Lesson #2. learn quickly what you have, the learning curve may not always be in your favor. Sometimes when you don't recognize you're walking around with a classic or have it hidden in the 'proverbial attic'(house,etc...) You may end up giving it away, or someone takes advantage of your generosity(naivete'). My good sir..remember the whole "one man's trash" cliche'? Well, they are cliches for a reason. A classic is a classic for a reason..so lets do our best to handle with care..MM
